After Oni and Sons we headed to Tabitha Homes
Spreading hope and happiness
📍 Ibadan, Nigeria | January 2025
Tabitha Homes is a shelter for orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) who have faced abandonment, loss, and deep emotional trauma. CPR conducted a holistic welfare visit to provide both material and emotional support to the children.
Activities and impact included:
- Distribution of hygiene kits (soap, toothpaste, sanitary items) and nutritious meals to 50 children.
- Emotional wellness activities like storytelling, art, music, and group games, offering the children a safe space to express joy and build social bonds.
- Provision of learning support materials such as notebooks, pencils, and writing slates to enhance their classroom readiness.
Beyond the supplies, we brought human connection and hope, helping children feel cared for and remembered.
