Spreading Hope at Seriki Sabo: A Day of Impactful Outreach
Seriki Sabo - Our Last Stop for that day
📍 Ibadan, Nigeria | January 2025
In the heart of Seriki Sabo, CPR organized a large-scale community outreach designed to meet urgent food and health needs among low-income families. This underserved area struggles with high unemployment, food insecurity, and limited access to basic healthcare.
Through support from local volunteers and health professionals, we successfully:
- Distributed over 300 hot meals to individuals experiencing hunger.
- Provided 20 raw food relief packages to households for continued sustenance.
- Conducted basic health screenings and consultations, helping residents detect early signs of common illnesses like high blood pressure and malaria.
Many of the beneficiaries were elderly, single mothers, and informal workers with no access to consistent healthcare. For them, this outreach was more than just charity—it was dignity restored.
